Will a De-Sensitizing Spray Cure My Premature Ejaculation Dysfunction?

There is perhaps no more emasculating feeling in the world than being told by your partner that you cannot "last" long enough during sexual intercourse for them, or for anyone. Your partner has probably mentioned more than once how they have absolutely no chance of having an orgasm due to your "lightning speed" or "five-minute man" abilities.

This undoubtedly grates at you to the point that you are desperate to seek treatment. But what treatments are there?

As we are living in a rather Internet-savvy age, chances are that you have plugged the words "premature ejaculation" into a search engine and scoured the internet for any information about cures for this dysfunction. You must first consider the following factors:

  • Premature ejaculation is loosely defined as affecting a man who cannot sustain sex for more than 2 minutes after penetrating his partner
  • If you last, on average, 6-7 minutes during sex, this is normal. You may want to consider suggesting that your partner has an issue in achieving orgasm or try different foreplay methods to help them along.
  • Having one experience of premature ejaculation does not qualify you as having a true "dysfunction"

If you feel that you are not stressed, or depressed, have not suffered any physical head or spinal cord injuries, and have no psychological issues that you are aware of pertaining to sex or sexual repression, then you may simply have a very sensitive genital area. A sensitive pelvic area can also greatly contribute to a man's ejaculatory abilities.

There are a number of treatments available to you:

  • Prescription drugs, usually from the antidepressant drug family or those related to erectile dysfunctions
  • Behavioral and sexual therapy, usually involving a start-stop technique
  • Psychological therapy, usually only if you do have any history of sexual issues (molestation, repression, pornography addiction)
  • Numbing agents, usually in the form of creams and sprays

Popular in Asian countries (though not promoted in the USA publicly, due to FDA disapproval) is a de-sensitizing spray. These sprays contain a local anesthetic that will literally numb your penis and the surrounding area so that you will not feel any of the "sensations" of sex.

Many men have claimed that these are an absolute godsend, as they then find that they are able to not only give their partner orgasm after orgasm but then actually OUTLAST their partner in bed.

Be warned, however, that although you might outlast your partner, you might not be able to achieve orgasm. Many men, especially when first using the spray, use it to so great an abundance that they remain numbed for well over an hour and are then not able to climax.

Another consideration is that there have been no clinical studies on the long-term effects of using an anesthetic on the genitals, so you are taking somewhat of a health risk by using it.

When it comes to treatment options, I say, "To each their own!" If the spray proves to be effective for you, then all power to you. Be sure, however, to discuss any potential risks that may be involved with the use of such sprays before you DO actually use them.

Premature Ejaculation Study Case

Premature ejaculation is a violation of ejaculation and accounts for 25-60% of all forms of functional sexual disorders in men. PE is not considered an organic disease, it is sexual dysfunction, which is the inability to control ejaculation sufficiently to achieve sexual satisfaction during coitus with both partners.

According to WHO, the problem of PE is faced by at least 40% of men of different ages throughout the world. Different authors consider the time factor for the criteria of PE (the duration of sexual intercourse is less than 1-2 minutes) or the number of frictions (less than 8-15)

The problem of premature ejaculation (PE)

This problem is mostly a social problem since from the point of view of medicine there are no organic changes and there are no obvious reasons for this. There is no single norm for the duration of sexual intercourse, but the average length of the period of friction varies from 2 to 10 minutes, depending on the characteristics of the organism, the situation during coitus, and the period of abstinence.

However, the subjective opinion of men can cause a false opinion about the problem of PE and short intercourse, which in turn has an adverse effect on family relationships, reduces the self-esteem of both partners, and often leads to the disintegration of the family.

it is considered if ejaculation occurs regularly earlier than both of the partners received sexual satisfaction, provided that the frictional period was less than 2 minutes. With a long period of foreplay and strong sexual arousal, especially after significant abstinence, ejaculation may occur before genital contact, which is not considered pathology.

Many people take the impossibility of getting vaginal orgasm or anorgasmia in women for PE, since the frictional period, often lasting more than 20 minutes, is not enough to satisfy the partner.

That is, from the medical point of view, premature ejaculation is often repeated ejaculation after minimal sexual stimulation before or after the introduction of the penis into the vagina. The view that uncontrolled ejaculation is premature is wrong, besides, it gives rise to serious and intractable psychological problems

Causes of premature ejaculation

To date, numerous studies in the field of andrology prove that most PE is of a psychogenic nature and refers to a psychogenic form of PE. Lack of sexual experience and theoretical knowledge at the time of the onset of sexual activity, coupled with false reviews of sexual experiences among peers, subsequently form a persistent failure syndrome.

Because once happened unsuccessful sexual intercourse in the development of phobias leads to a repeat of the script. Psychophysical reasons for the development of recurring premature ejaculations lie in the formation of a reflex arc, which, after formation, contributes to PE, and later develop the secondary phenomena of colliculitis (inflammation of the seminal tubercle).

Inflammatory diseases of the appendages of the gonads, especially in the absence of treatment and the addition of psychogenic factors, can form a persistent syndrome of PE.

So, with colliculitis of inflammatory or hypertrophic nature in the seminal mound blood supply is increased, which is especially evident at the moment of sexual intercourse. This enhances the ascending nerve impulses and, in response to irritation of the central nervous system, orgasm and PE occur.

In the absence of treatment, the irritation of this zone increases, resulting in the loss of the quality of the orgasm itself, and frequent premature ejaculations are formed. Often the prostate gland is involved in the inflammatory process, or at first, the inflammation of the prostate is observed, which later passes to the seed hillock. Therefore, when correcting PE, it is important to carry out anti-inflammatory therapy of all the appendages of the gonads.

With neurological changes that are accompanied by hypersensitivity of the glans penis, the number of receptors in the nerve arc increases, resulting in PE. A short frenum, as the cause of PE, is practically not considered, since after a plastic frenulum, sexual life comes back to normal.

Diagnosis and treatment of premature ejaculation

In addition to subjective data based on the patient's questioning, the andrologist performs a series of tests, including a sample with lidocaine and a condom. It is also necessary to conduct a test for the presence of inflammatory diseases in the urogenital sphere, which could cause sexual dysfunction.

And after a comprehensive examination, a course of procedures for correcting sexual dysfunction is assigned on an individual basis. In this case, the goal of treatment is to restore the normal duration of sexual intercourse and remove the psychologically caused failure syndrome.

All patients undergo a psychotherapeutic course on teaching methods of controlling ejaculation. Doctors-sexologists agree that PE of a psychogenic nature is enough for psychotherapy, for the successful formation of recognition of pre-orgasmic sensations.

However, the effect of psychotherapy is observed only with the conscious and adequate participation of a permanent partner. The "stop-start" method for a period of 2 to 10 weeks begins to give its results, but for their consolidation, it takes at least 2-3 months after the end of the procedures.

At the same time, efficiency largely depends on the patience of both partners and on the absence of negative emotions at the time of sexual intimacy.

The termination or slowing down of frictional movements at the same time as conscious relaxation of the muscles at the moment of approaching orgasm allows you to continue the sexual act, besides constant training strengthens the muscles of the pelvic floor, which additionally helps to achieve complete control over ejaculation and solve the problem of PE.

In this case, treatment will be effective only if there is a constant partner, who is not indifferent to the problems of a man and has a positive attitude, together with a reserve of patience and perseverance.

Drug treatment of premature ejaculation is indicated for inflammatory processes in the prostate gland and in the seminal tubercle, as well as with increased sensitivity of the glans penis.

To reduce the sensitivity of using an ointment with lidocaine or anesthesin, it is recommended to use a condom. The drug is applied 10-15 minutes before the sexual act on the bridle area, in order to prevent the loss of sensitivity completely and not cause an ejaculation.

This method can be used only in the presence of a permanent partner since it is associated with psychological and physical discomfort during preparation for coitus, however, when using ointments, a good clinical effect is achieved and a minimum of adverse reactions is observed.

Preparations from other pharmacological groups due to the selective effect on the mechanisms of regulation can also be used to correct PE. But however, no pharmacological group of drugs has been widely used.

So, neuroleptics block dopamine receptors at the central level. The effectiveness of tranquilizers in correcting PE directly depends on the dose, but ejaculation is rather inhibited than controlled. In addition, when the dose is raised, a sedative effect occurs, which is not always appropriate at the time of sexual intercourse.

With the use of alpha-adrenoblockers, inhibition of the ejaculatory reflex occurs due to an effect on the sympathetic link. But, despite this, while maintaining control over PE and maintaining orgasm, the drugs are not widely used because of frequent retrograde ejaculation, when seminal fluid is thrown into the bladder, as its valve does not close.

Premature ejaculation can be inhibited by tricyclic antidepressants, although these drugs are dose-dependent and their efficacy is not more than 15%, which, together with many side effects, has not given antidepressants a wide circulation in the treatment of PE.

The most popular drugs for the correction of premature ejaculation are antidepressants, which increase the serotonin level due to selective blockade of its reuptake. This fluoxetine, sertraline, and other; when taking drugs, there is a good effect and a small number of adverse reactions. It is the drugs of this pharmacological group that are promising for the effective correction of premature ejaculation.

Intracavernous injections, which have gained popularity recently, significantly increase the frictional period by lowering the sensitivity of nerve fibers. But, unlike the drugs taken inside, the erection remains after ejaculation, which allows the man to continue the sexual act, feeling more confident.

The surgical treatment of premature ejaculation resorted if the main cause is a short frenum. In such cases, the surgical plastic of the bridle is performed. In the absence of the effect of conservative treatment of premature ejaculation, a microsurgical operation is performed to denervation the glans penis. As a result of surgical interventions.

The Number 1 Cause of Premature Ejaculation

"The primary cause of premature ejaculation is a man's inability to sense how close he is to ejaculation" - Said the founder of the Human Sexuality Program in New York.

If you never ever want to have that embarrassing experience of prematurely ejaculating in your pants or within 1-2 minutes then you will have to develop something called Arousal Awareness. This is what the quote refers to.

You most likely aren't able to figure out how aroused you are until you get that feeling in your groin that you are extremely close to ejaculating. This is a lack of sexual awareness.

This lack of sexual awareness is very bad because it causes ridiculously humiliating experiences, you may end up prematurely ejaculating in your pants. You may ejaculate when she is putting on a condom, you may ejaculate when you enter her or shortly after.

Not being able to "read" your own arousal levels is the main reason you prematurely ejaculate.

When you learn how to read your arousal levels you will know when to slow down and what to do in order to avoid ejaculating in your pants or as soon as you start having sex.

By understanding your arousal levels you gain incredible control over your body and gaining this arousal awareness is one of the first steps you must take if you want to overcome premature ejaculation and last longer.

You can measure your arousal level on a scale of 1-10.

At level 1 you are just getting aroused, at level 10 you are so aroused that you are ejaculating.

When you ejaculate in your pants you most likely get to level 9.5 but since you have bad arousal awareness you don't realize it and as soon as she gives you a stroke or two you get to level 10 and you ejaculate.

When you masturbate, do you always know how close you are to ejaculate?

If not, your arousal awareness is bad.

You mostly got this bad arousal awareness because you are distracted when you masturbate, you watch porn or fantasize, you aren't present at the moment and you certainly aren't focused on the sensations in your penis.

By constantly ignoring the sensations that you feel you end up losing the ability to know when you are close to ejaculation, and you also lose the habit of checking in with yourself.

This inability to sense how close you are to ejaculation at all times causes premature ejaculation.

Here's how to develop arousal awareness so that you can protect yourself from premature ejaculation.

When you masturbate do so without hurry, do not try to ejaculate as fast as possible, and do not try to last longer than you normally would.

Check-in with yourself every 10-15 seconds and notice how it feels in your penis.

In the beginning, it may feel a little strange because you aren't used to this.

But when you get to that point where you know exactly how much stimulation you can take before you ejaculate, the easier it will be to slow down. You can change positions or take a 15-second break and NOT prematurely ejaculate.

The reason a lack of sexual awareness is the number one cause of premature ejaculation is this, when you don't know how much sexual stimulation you can take, you may end up initiating sex when you are at a level 9 on your arousal scale, this makes you ejaculate as soon as she touches you.

Think about it, if you are at level 9 you will only need 1-2 minutes of sexual stimulation to get to level 10 and ejaculate.

If however, you start having sex when you are at level 3, then you will need 10 minutes of sexual stimulation before you get to level 10 and ejaculate.

If you can read your arousal levels you can slow down and get it as low as possible before sex starts and immediately you will be able to last longer.

CAUTION: Now I need you to pay very close attention to this

Here's a shortcut to lasting longer...

Let's face it...

There is probably nothing in the world that gives a man greater pleasure than knowing he has the ability to satisfy any woman in bed.

But for many guys, sex is often a short-lived affair (even an embarrassing one) that ends as soon as the heart starts pounding and the adrenalin gets rushing.

So does Lloyd Lester's new offering "Ejaculation By Command" really live up to the hype and teach you how to turn the tables on premature ejaculation (PE) and transform your sex life?

Let's find out...

At first look, you'll quickly realize the amazing wealth of information contained within the book. It starts off with the fundamentals, which really makes sense if you want to get your PE problem sorted out permanently.

Here you'll discover the reasons why sex is often a short-lived, embarrassing affair for most men... and the myths and misconceptions that unfortunately cloud the issue and make it much harder for men to break free from PE and carve out a new, more confident, and long-lasting sexual performance.

The second part of the book is where the rubber hits the road.

Here Lloyd gives you all the tools, techniques, and knowledge you need to begin re-training and re-wiring your mind and body so that you can revel in longer-lasting sex, and at the same time, give your partner an erotic experience she never thought was possible.

The techniques are totally natural and easy to do - you certainly don't need any expensive pills, creams, lotions, or other silly alternatives.

Are there any downsides to the book?

Well, for one, this is NOT an instant cure for PE. Those techniques that are taught will take some time, effort, and commitment on your part to permanently beat premature ejaculation.

But like any self-improvement endeavor that is worth undertaking, that should be expected, don't you agree?

That said, Lloyd more than makes up for it by including an exclusive bonus book (among 6 other bonuses) where he reveals 15 tried-and-tested "emergency tactics" you can use right away to put up a decent performance in bed.

These will certainly come in handy if you need some "firepower" tonight!

One thing I really like about this book and what makes it stand out from the veritable avalanche of resources on premature ejaculation - is the two-pronged approach of helping the average man improve his sexual endurance, AND fulfilling a woman's deepest sexual desires at the same time.

And that's what makes this book so special.

All in all, Ejaculation By Command offers very solid and practical information - and is arguably the most complete system to beat premature ejaculation.

If you want to be the kind of superb lover who has the natural ability to hold his ejaculation almost by command and keep his woman sexually fulfilled all the time, then this book is exactly what you need.
